George King Obituary, Death; – One individual involved in a vehicular accident in Eau Claire County on Friday has succumbed to his injuries.
As reported by the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 27 and County N in the Township of Ludington shortly after 11 a.m. on Friday.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Blaine Howard of Fairchild, who was operating a vehicle on County N, did not stop at the stop sign and subsequently collided with another vehicle traveling on Highway 27. The passenger in the latter vehicle, identified as 69-year-old George King from Fall Creek, passed away on Tuesday. His spouse, Carol King, sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Blaine Howard has been charged with inattentive driving and failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign, which resulted in a fatality.
