Devin Barstow Obituary, Death; – A teenager is facing homicide charges following the shooting death of an 18-year-old at an unoccupied residence on Flint Street.
On October 7, 2024, Devin Barstow, a resident of Greece, was discovered deceased with multiple gunshot wounds at the Flint Street location. Investigators established that Barstow was shot around 4 p.m. in the side lot of the Flint Street Recreation Center. He managed to reach the porch of the Flint Street home before succumbing to his injuries.
Shortly thereafter, 16-year-old Ramell Griffin was identified as the alleged perpetrator. It is claimed that Griffin shot Barstow during a robbery at the Recreation Center.
On Friday, Griffin was arraigned in Monroe County Court on charges including two counts of second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was already in custody for charges related to a stolen vehicle incident that occurred on October 15, 2024. Griffin is set to appear in court again this Thursday.
