LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A person has died after colliding with a semi-truck in Lancaster County, trooper say.
The crash happened on Jan. 11 at 6:34 p.m. on Flat Creek Road, eight miles north of Lancaster.
Officials say a 2003 Ford Ranger was traveling east on Flat Creek Road while a 2024 Freightliner truck was traveling west. The semi-truck attempted to make a U-turn at Pit-A-Tat Road and the Ford collided with the truck.
The driver of the Ford died at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation by South Carolina Highway Patrol.
