Anthony Gribble,Enrique Reyes Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified the individuals involved in a triple homicide that occurred on Friday in Pitt County.
The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office reports that Anthony Gribble, aged 80, and his wife Paula Gribble, aged 76, residents of Peace Ridge Court, were fatally shot. The third victim has been identified as Enrique Reyes, aged 64, from Forest Acres Drive.
On Friday, detectives from the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation that encompassed four distinct crime scenes. Two of these locations correspond to the residences of the victims on Peace Ridge Court and Forest Acres Drive. During the course of the investigation, all three victims were discovered deceased due to gunshot wounds.
David Lever, a 55-year-old resident of Greenville, was apprehended and taken into custody at one of the crime scenes. He faces three open counts of murder and is currently held at the Pitt County Detention Center without bond. Lever, who is reported to reside on Forest Acres Drive, like Reyes, is a real estate broker. Further charges may be forthcoming.
Officials indicate that based on interviews and evidence gathered from each location, the preliminary findings suggest a connection between the crime scenes; however, they emphasize that the investigation remains ongoing.
