HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person has life-threatening injuries from a crash on Beatties Ford Road in Huntersville during the winter weather Friday evening.
According to the Huntersville Fire Department, an occupant of a vehicle was pinned in a crash at Sample Road near Latta Nature Preserve. Then once fire crews arrived, a second crash occurred behind their truck.
The patient was eventually freed and transported by Medic to Novant Health Presbyterian.
Huntersville Fire officials indicated Beatties Ford is “very slick” as temperatures drop into the 20s and to avoid the area.
