Longtime family friend Nicole Freiler shared a heartfelt tribute to Officer Horan, describing who he was as a person.
“He dedicated his life to service from the beach patrol to the Coast Guard to the Greensboro Police Department,” Freiler said.
Freiler said she officiated Horan’s wedding and would’ve never imagined speaking at his funeral years later.
