CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Charlotte Douglas International Airport Thursday vowed to stay open and operational, ‘no matter the conditions,’ as winter weather looms.
Charlotte airport officials said its dedicated teams and nearly 40 snow removal and de-icing vehicles are prepared to ensure safe and efficient operations.
“Additionally, all parking lots and decks will remain open and will be pre-treated to minimize the impact of ice and snow,” the Charlotte airport said.
Passengers are encouraged to check with their airline for flight status updates before arriving.
