Alejo Ruben Elias Jr,Anissa Lawson Obituary, Death; – Three individuals who lost their lives following a fatal chase in Stockton on Sunday have been officially identified.
As reported by the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, the high-speed pursuit commenced when deputies attempted to stop a stolen vehicle near the intersection of Wilson Way and Harding Way at approximately 1:40 a.m., prompting the driver to flee.
The chase concluded when the suspect’s vehicle collided with another car at the intersection of Airport Way and Hazleton Avenue. The San Joaquin County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that the driver being pursued was 28-year-old Alejo Ruben Elias Jr. from Stockton.
Among the two occupants of the vehicle that was struck, one has been identified as 61-year-old Darren Hickerson, also from Stockton. The second occupant, identified on Wednesday, was 52-year-old Anissa Lawson, also a resident of Stockton.
