Camesha Lindsay,ONeil Stevens Obituary, Death; – The identities of the two adults from Jamaica who lost their lives in a multi-vehicle accident on Halfway Creek Road were disclosed by the Charleston County Coroner on Monday afternoon.
Camesha Lindsay, aged 38, and O’Neil Stevens, aged 47, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash that occurred on January 3, as stated by Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal. Stevens was pronounced dead at the scene, while Lindsay was declared deceased at Roper Mount Pleasant Hospital at approximately 7:02 p.m., according to O’Neal.
Reports from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office indicate that around 6 p.m. on Friday, January 3, Lindsay and Stevens exited a disabled vehicle on Halfway Creek Road. As they left the vehicle, they were struck by a passing car, as reported by the sheriff’s office.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office confirmed that this was not a hit-and-run incident, as the vehicle involved stopped following the collision. The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is actively pursuing its investigation into the matter, and the identity of the driver who struck Lindsay and Stevens has not yet been released.
