Nazhoni Nunez Obituary, Death;- The Tucson Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the shooting death of a woman. According to the TPD, the incident occurred on Saturday, January 6, in the 800 block of West Ajo Way, located just east of Interstate 19.
Authorities report that 23-year-old Nazhoni Nunez was declared dead at the scene. The adult male caller who fired the handgun remained at the location and is cooperating with the investigation. Detectives have determined that Nunez and the male individual were involved in a domestic relationship.
It has been reported that Nunez forcibly entered the apartment, which resulted in an altercation that ultimately led to her being shot. The investigation is still ongoing, and as of now, no charges or arrests have been made. Upon completion of the investigation, the case will be forwarded to the Pima County Attorney’s Office for further review.
