Garrett Reynolds Obituary, Death; – Authorities are conducting an investigation following the fatal shooting of a man and the critical injury of a woman in Vermillion County. The incident occurred on Sunday at approximately 5:00 PM near Perrysville, located in the northern region of the county.
Law enforcement responded to the residence after receiving a 911 call regarding the shooting. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with individuals inside the home, but there was no response.
Subsequently, officers entered the residence to ensure safety and discovered the deceased man along with the woman, who sustained life-threatening gunshot wounds. The woman is currently in critical condition. The Indiana State Police have identified the deceased individual as 30-year-old Garrett Reynolds.
Authorities have indicated that the shooting was a domestic incident, confirming that the injured woman is the victim. Newschain has opted not to disclose the woman’s identity at this time, as law enforcement believes she was a victim of domestic violence.
