Brandi Crout Obituary, Death; – Authorities are conducting an investigation following the discovery of a woman who was shot and killed on Thursday afternoon, just one day after she went missing on New Year’s Day in Kansas City.
The Kansas City Police Department reported that Brandi Crout, 48, was last seen around 8 p.m. on January 1, when she disappeared from the vicinity of 45th Terrace and Willow Avenue while driving her black 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe, which bears the Missouri license plate “EH7-V9E.”
The following day, KCPD announced the recovery of a deceased woman inside a vehicle located near East 35th Terrace and Stadium Drive. The identity of the woman was confirmed to be Crout on Friday morning.
While the incident is classified as a shooting, the police have yet to ascertain the events that led to Crout’s death. The investigation remains active, and the area is currently designated as a crime scene.
