CONCORD, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A portion of a downtown Concord street will be closed throughout the day Friday.
According to city officials, streetscape crews will close one lane of Cabarrus Avenue at the intersection of Union Street. Drivers traveling in both directions will share the eastbound lane with flaggers directing traffic.
The closure is scheduled to last from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
After closures for more than a year, Union Street reopened this fall in time for the annual Christmas Parade Nov. 23.
