Luis Noe Hernandez Rodriguez Obituary, Death;- The individual who lost his life in a tragic accident on Iron Works Pike on New Year’s Eve has been named.
According to the Lexington police, officers responded to the incident at approximately 6:40 a.m. on December 31, which involved a collision between a gray vehicle and a box truck. Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn reported that the driver of the gray car, 38-year-old Luis Noe Hernandez Rodriguez, succumbed to multiple blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The driver of the box truck was transported to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening. There were no passengers present in either vehicle.
Ginn informed FOX 56, “Our preliminary assessment suggests that one vehicle may have veered off the road. The incline in that area is quite steep, and it appears that the driver may have attempted to return to the roadway. This overcorrection likely caused the vehicle to cross into oncoming traffic. We are also investigating potential medical issues that may have contributed to the incident.” The inquiry into the crash remains active.
