CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charlotte-area officials say there will be, “security measures in place” at Friday’s “Duke’s Mayo Bowl” in the wake of the New Orlean’s attack.
Mecklenburg County Sheriff Garry McFadden tells Queen City News he received a briefing on Wednesday on the Bourbon Street ramming. McFadden says his deputies are on alert for Friday’s game at Bank of America Stadium between Minnesota and Virginia Tech.
The sheriff did not say what added measures will be in place.
