(PINPOINT WEATHER) — After such a gray, rainy and stormy weekend, it was nice to see some blue sky and sun on the last Monday of 2024! The warmer temperatures didn’t feel too bad, either. We get one more above-normal temperature day on Tuesday before a cold front starts to draw in some colder air again.
The front will also bring more clouds and the chance of showers. Just some spotty rain is possible through the afternoon and early evening. If you’re going out for New Year’s Eve at night, it’ll be drier again, with chilly temps backing off into the 40s and some gusty wind from time to time.
The mountains will not be totally dry, though. Snow is expected to develop Tuesday evening and linger through Wednesday morning. It won’t add up to too much, but up to 2-3 inches is possible in the highest elevations.
The first day of 2025 will be seasonably cool with highs back in the 50s. We’ll see the sun again, too! The rest of the week is mostly dry as yet another cold front passes by. That will drop temperatures even more for the weekend. Highs may struggle to climb out of the 30s on Saturday, with lows dropping into the teens and 20s! Brrr…
Tonight: Increasing clouds. Low 44.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy with a few afternoon/early evening showers possible. High 62.
