Jose Vasro Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the Massachusetts farm worker who lost his life on Monday at Lindy Farms. Enfield Police Chief Alaric Fox announced on Tuesday that the deceased individual was identified as 68-year-old Jose Vasro from Springfield, Massachusetts.
According to Chief Fox, the incident occurred while Vasro was in a position that made him invisible to the operator of the skid steer, who was reversing at the time. The accident took place at approximately 11:20 a.m. on Monday at the farm located on Fletcher Road. Chief Fox indicated that the event appears to have been accidental.
He also mentioned that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
