A Christmas Eve shooting at the Walmart on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville has left one person injured. The incident occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. when Clarksville Police received multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting at the store.
Responding officers quickly arrived at the scene and began clearing the building to ensure the safety of all individuals inside, confirming that the shooter was no longer a threat. After conducting an initial investigation, police determined that the shooting resulted from an argument between two individuals. The dispute escalated, and firearms were drawn, leading to the injuries.
One individual sustained multiple gunshot wounds, though authorities confirmed that the injuries were non-life-threatening. The victim was able to drive themselves to Tennova Healthcare for initial treatment before being transported to a hospital in Nashville for further care.
