Johanna K Rosencrance Obituary, Death; – One individual has lost their life, and another has sustained serious injuries following a single-vehicle accident that occurred late Sunday afternoon in eastern Bradford County. The Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda have identified the deceased as Johanna K. Rosencrance, aged 46, from Meshoppen, Pennsylvania.
The incident transpired at approximately 4:42 p.m. on Sunday along U.S. Route 6, near the intersection with Kings Ridge Lane in Tuscarora Township, as reported by state police. Johanna was a passenger in a 2019 Chevrolet driven by 20-year-old Stephanie A. Rosencrance, a resident of Monroe Township in Bradford County, according to the troopers.
While traveling west on Route 6, Stephanie lost control of the vehicle, which subsequently veered off the road and collided with an embankment. Johanna Rosencrance, confirmed by state police to be Stephanie’s mother, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Stephanie Rosencrance suffered a significant head injury and was transported to Geisinger Hospital in Wilkes-Barre; her current condition remains unknown, as stated by the authorities. Both individuals were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, according to the troopers.
