Preliminary investigations suggest that Dorrity was operating a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado traveling eastbound on FM 1585 when he veered into the north-side barrow ditch. The vehicle then continued into a field north of FM 1585 and subsequently rolled over. The inquiry indicated that Dorrity was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover incident.
