Rapper Gaboro Obituary, Death; – Swedish authorities reported today that a man was fatally shot in a parking lot in the city of Norrköping, with media sources identifying the deceased as the rapper Gaboro, who allegedly had connections to criminal organizations.
A video claiming to depict the incident rapidly circulated on social media platforms. The footage, seemingly recorded by the assailant’s camera, shows an individual armed with a handgun discharging multiple rounds in the parking area.
Law enforcement officials acknowledged their awareness of the video, stating it forms part of their ongoing investigation. They confirmed that a man in his twenties, discovered injured at the scene yesterday morning, was subsequently declared dead at the hospital.
Numerous media reports indicated that the individual was the rapper Gaboro, whose music has garnered millions of streams on the prominent Swedish music platform, Spotify. Sweden has experienced an increase in gang-related shootings and bombings, attributed to conflicts between rival factions, with police facing challenges in managing the illegal drug trade.
Several prominent artists have previously fallen victim to this violence.In June, 26-year-old rapper C.Gambino—whose real name is Karar Ramadan and should not be confused with the American artist Childish Gambino—was shot and killed, having recently been awarded the title of the country’s hip-hop artist of the year.
Another notable Swedish rapper, Einar, was murdered in Stockholm during a gang-related incident in October 2021. In the previous year, 53 individuals lost their lives in 363 shootings, often occurring in public spaces and sometimes resulting in the deaths of innocent bystanders.
