Brad Dickey Death – Brad Dickey, a resident of Brooklyn, and an alumnus of Divine Child High School has sadly passed away. He was announced dead by a former classmate in the Divine Child Alumni Association Facebook group on Sunday, August 6th, 2023. “Sad to share the news of the sudden passing of Brad Dickey ‘88. Brad was a true supporter of Divine Child. He was a great man, friend, brother, son, coach, and Falcon! God Bless Brad, may he rest in peace. Prayers to his family, friends, and classmates.”
Who was Brad Dickey?
Brad Dickey was a resident of Brooklyn, Michigan, and an alumnus of Divine Child High School in Dearborn, Michigan class of 1998. He worked as a Courier with Metro Transportation Ltd. from 1989 to 2000 and also worked as a Supply Chain Manager, Sales at Impatto Custom Marketing from 2000 to 2003 in Livonia, Michigan. Brad was a Warehouse Supervisor; Sales at T.Litzen Sports USA from 2003 to 2005 and also was a Sales Representative at Coaches Sports, LLC from 2006 to 2009.
He was the Co-Founder of the Michigan Youth Athletic Association and Riddell Sales and Service Representative. He was a beloved coach and a true supporter of the DC. He was a loving brother to Scott Dickey. Coach Dickey was the absolute foundation upon which St. Edith Football was built.

Brad, a former DC football player, and coach, dedicated many years to running the CYO football program at St. Edith, where they achieved remarkable success. During his CYO days, Brad played under the guidance of Coach Lee, and their friendship has remained strong ever since. Even today, Brad continues to support the CYO team by providing them with top-notch equipment. Brad’s approach to coaching was exemplary, as he prioritized the well-being and development of the young athletes at St. Edith.
Through his leadership, the team transformed into a dominant football powerhouse, displaying tenacity and competitiveness on the field. Despite their fierce demeanor, Brad and his team upheld class and humility throughout their journey. Their main focus was always on the kids’ growth and progress. Not only did Brad excel in coaching, but he also assembled a team of exceptional coaches who were not only skilled in football but also outstanding individuals.
