Known for his integrity, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those around him, Andrew’s passing marks the end of a life well-lived—a life of service, hard work, and devotion to family.
Born on March 10, 1956, in Wisconsin Rapids, Andrew was the son of the late Harold and Clara Mueller. He grew up in his hometown, where he graduated from Assumption High School. During his school years, Andrew was active in sports and community events, developing a love for his community that would stay with him throughout his life. After high school, he began working in various trades, ultimately finding a long-term career at Consolidated Papers, where he worked for over 30 years. His colleagues remember him as a dedicated, reliable worker who always went above and beyond. Andrew’s strong work ethic and willingness to help others earned him the admiration of everyone he worked with.
While Andrew’s professional life was important to him, it was his family that brought him the greatest joy. In 1978, Andrew married his high school sweetheart, Susan Johnson, and together they raised two children, Eric and Emily. Andrew was the epitome of a devoted husband and father, always putting his family’s needs above his own. His love for his children and later his grandchildren was immeasurable, and he enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with them, whether on fishing trips, camping excursions, or simply sharing quiet moments at home. His humor, generosity, and kindness made him a cherished member of his family, and his presence will be deeply missed by those closest to him.
In addition to his dedication to his family, Andrew was a pillar of his community. He volunteered for local charity events, assisted with youth sports leagues, and was always ready to lend a hand to neighbors in need. His belief in giving back was reflected in the countless hours he spent working to improve the lives of others, whether through organized efforts or acts of kindness done quietly behind the scenes.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Susan; his children, Eric (Sarah) Mueller and Emily (David) Walker; his five grandchildren; his brother, John Mueller; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Clara Mueller.
