Despite the fact that John Killian was a native of Baltimore, Maryland, he was an active resident of Port Deposit, Maryland. It was in Baltimore that he had the majority of his childhood experiences and the happiest days during his boyhood. He had a charming and generous spirit, and he was always willing to look for ways to help his family, friends, and community in the most effective manner he could. While he was a student at Rising Sun High School in Maryland, he performed exceptionally well academically and graduated with one of the highest rates of achievement. He was the kind of person that anyone might hope for and pray for. He also attended West Virginia University for his education. Knowing John Killian was an experience of a lifetime, and people in his community were so fortunate to have him touch the nooks and crannies of their hearts. There are so many beautiful and charming things that could be written about John Killian. No one who knew and loved him will ever forget him. He will be greatly missed.
