Brent had a distinguished career in basketball, serving as an assistant coach and advance scout for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He also made significant contributions to the Gophers basketball program and had a notable role as a scout for the Timberwolves. His generosity and kindness made him a beloved figure in Minnesota’s basketball community.
A seasoned NBA scout, Brent spent more than four years with the Detroit Pistons (2018-2022, 2024), where he became an integral part of the organization. His deep knowledge of the game, work ethic, and commitment to excellence earned him great respect within the team.
