Gary Kantor Schiller Park IL Death:- Gary Kantor, a well-known school social worker and magician has sadly passed away. He was announced dead today, Friday, the 15th of November 2024. Gary Kantor of Schiller Park, Illinois died unexpectedly. No cause of death has been reported.
Gary has had a passion for magic since he was a child, and 19 years ago, he turned that passion into a thriving business. Thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and community during this difficult time.
In addition to performing magic shows for both children and adults, Gary teaches magic classes at over 140 park districts across Illinois, covering counties such as Cook, Lake, DuPage, Will, and McHenry. He is proud to have taught more than 100,000 students over the years.
Gary also performs at more than 400 birthday parties, special events, and camps each year. For the past 20 years, he has worked as a school social worker in a fantastic district, where he has the privilege of collaborating with a dedicated group of kids, teachers, parents, and administrators every day.
When he’s not working, Gary’s friends and family often joke that he never slows down. Gary himself admits that he likes to stay busy, filling his free time with various activities.
He was an avid gym-goer, always striving to stay active, and he has a wide range of hobbies. Gary enjoys creating artwork, particularly drawing portraits, and also loves reading, juggling, solving puzzles, and watching great movies and TV shows.
