Carlos Augusto Flores de Oliveira, 63, a renowned businessman and racer, passed away following a violent accident on one of the circuit’s curves. Despite the urgent efforts of emergency personnel and his rapid transfer to the San Lorenzo University Hospital, they were unable to do anything and he passed away during surgery.
The Brazilian driver lost control of his Porsche 911 GT3 RS and collided with water barrels on the side of the circuit, according to prosecutor Carolina Martinez.
