A tragic incident occurred in Middletown, Ohio, late on Wednesday, October 30, as authorities responded to reports of a violent domestic dispute involving a fatal stabbing.
Police were called to the 600 block of 14th Avenue at approximately 11:34 p.m. after receiving an emergency report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found 72-year-old Minnie Lewis suffering from multiple stab wounds.
First responders provided immediate assistance, and Lewis was quickly transported to the Atrium Medical Center in an attempt to save her life. Unfortunately, despite efforts by medical personnel, Lewis succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
In connection with the incident, police identified Lewis’s daughter, 44-year-old Mekeshia Lattimore, as the suspect. Lattimore was subsequently taken into custody and charged with murder.
