A secondhand word of a possible shooting threat led to the lockdown of Los Banos High School today.
Out of an abundance of caution to protect the safety of students and staff, the school and law enforcement acted immediately even though the report’s facts were unverified. Several cops were sent to the school to protect the area and look into the matter as soon as they received the report.
The safety of students, teachers, and staff is always the top priority in such situations, and the Los Banos Unified School District responded swiftly to the potential threat.
