More than 4,000 pounds of frozen chicken and beef products are under recall due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.

Brazilian Taste is recalling approximately 4,120 pounds of chicken and beef croquettes, because they may contain sesame, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

The chicken items were produced from March 4, 2025, to Aug. 19, 2025, while the beef items were produced on June 2, 2025.

The following products are subject to recall:

The products have establishment number “P-45640″ or “Est. 45640″ inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The items were shipped to retail locations in Connecticut, Georgia, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas, as well as nationwide through online sales.

The issue was discovered when the U.S. Food and Drug Administration notified the Food Safety and Inspection Service that bread crumb ingredients shared between the agency-regulated facilities contained sesame that may not have been declared on labels of the products.

There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a health-care provider.

FSIS is also concerned that some products may be in consumers’ freezer.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them and instead throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.

Those with questions about the recall can contact Barbara Bueno, manager of Brazilian Taste, at 404-538-5366 or [email protected].
