The tragic and unexpected deaths of Emily Root, the wife of former Captain Kyle Root, and their two kids have left friends, family, and the community in despair. The Spencer Fire Department released a statement confirming their deaths, which said, “Please keep the family of former Captain Kyle Root in your thoughts and prayers.” He tragically lost his wife Emily and his two young girls, Amailia and Shiloh, in a road accident in Michigan last night. We pray for consolation and healing after learning of his unfathomable tragedy.
Emily Root: who was she?
Emily Root was the devoted wife of former Captain Kyle Root, an incredible fireman, and the mother of three lovely little kids. Emily is a living example of family, hard work, and community involvement. She is firmly rooted in her beliefs. She brought delight to meetings in a tranquil natural setting at Woldumar Nature Center, where she currently serves as the Hospitality Director and Event Coordinator.
In addition, Emily has a part-time job at Notos Old World Italian Restaurant as a bartender and beverage specialist, where she can demonstrate her talent and love for making special occasions. Emily has been a stay-at-home mom for almost ten years, giving her all to raising her girls and running the household. She jokingly refers to herself as “mother superior,” demonstrating her unwavering commitment to family life despite juggling a variety of job commitments.
Concerning Emily Root
Her vast background in the hospitality sector includes positions held in the past as Specialty Server at CBK at Gun Lake Casino and FOH/Bar Manager at TGI Fridays. Emily has demonstrated her ability to strike a balance between enjoyment and accountability by leading kid-focused programs as an Arch Leader at Kentwood Public Schools. She was reared in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and has a long history of involvement in the community and education. She studied zoology before going on to pursue acting and modeling.
She graduated from Grand Rapids Community College in 2009 after studying there and from City High School in 2007. At the John Casablancas Modeling and Career Center, she studied acting and modeling. Whether working at Olive Garden or Culver’s, Emily has developed a reputation as a dedicated, talented person who genuinely “does it all.” Emily maintains close ties to her Grand Rapids heritage and creates enduring memories with her loved ones, all thanks to her father Ron, siblings Zach and Ashley, and other family members.
