Nash was wearing a helmet certified by the DOT, but he still suffered terrible injuries from the motorcycle hitting the truck’s passenger side. He was transferred to a local hospital where he eventually passed away.
There were no injuries to the Chevrolet’s driver in the collision. As part of the ongoing inquiry, regular toxicological samples were taken even though there is no suspicion that he was impaired.
