Multiple Rock-Throwing Incidents on Highway 48
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a series of dangerous incidents where rocks were thrown at moving vehicles along Highway 48. The most severe case occurred on September 20, 2024, resulting in a serious collision and life-threatening injuries to two individuals.
Collisions and Damage
That same night, two other vehicles were struck, causing minor injuries and vehicle damage. A fourth vehicle reported being hit, sustaining damage to the side-view mirror.
