News Update: Norfolk Police Discovers 19-Year-Old Teen from London Body in Norwich Flat After Eight Days Killed by Single Stab Wound
Authorities looking into a teen’s possible murder say they think his body was hidden in an apartment for eight days before it was discovered.
The victim, a 19-year-old London guy, has been identified, according to Norfolk police.
At 10.40 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024, officers were called to a property on Lefroy Road in Mile Cross, Norwich, due to reports of a male who had been stabbed.
It was determined by a post-mortem investigation that he only had one stab wound.
According to Norfolk police, the event is thought to be “drug-related,” and there is no “wider risk to the community” from the suspects.
A police cordon is still in place, according to the force, and house-to-house inquiries are still ongoing.
“This is a complex investigation, and we are going through the evidence methodically,” stated Detective Inspector Dave McCormack.
“We need to pursue other lines of inquiry because the man’s body was in the apartment for around eight days before the police were notified. At this moment, no one has been arrested.
“Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious or has information about the incident.”
