Nathan Nara, a popular YouTuber known for his channel Natenation, has died in a car accident in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Narra’s death occurred around 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning after the Corvette crashed while driving in the area of Dekindre and Mile 16 (Metro Parkway) near the border of Troy and Sterling Heights.
According to the Metro Detroit News, a man was speeding in his Chevrolet Corvette when he lost control, causing a rollover crash. Friends identified the man behind the wheel as Nathan Narr of Sterling Heights, Michigan, who was ejected from the vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries.
He was taken to the hospital, where he tragically died.
Nathan “Nate” Nara, born AuParamusgust 4, 2001 in Detroit, was a popular social media content creator known for his Nationalization A YouTube channel with about 300,000 subscribers. Nate, who first uploaded to his YouTube channel on April 8, 2016, has gained popularity for his videos, which mostly feature giveaways, vlogs, and contests. He once infamously ran onto the field during a Detroit Tigers vs. Minnesota Twins baseball game in July 2016.
Narra grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, attending Warren Mott High School. In March 2020, he was arrested after he crashed his car while trying to flee from the Cambie Police Department. According to news reports at the time, Cambie police officers observed Nara driving 91 mph in a 75 mph zone on I-30 West. The officer attempted a traffic stop, but he refused to slow down and ran.
During the chase, he crashed into another vehicle, causing his car to start smoking from the rear wheel and throwing up pieces of the tire. This caused him to stop, which led to his arrest. He was charged with reckless driving and evading arrest in a motor vehicle and booked into the Hopkins County Jail on $17,500 bond
