Lillian Strzelski Cause of Death: Lillian Strzelski, a beloved educator and long-time resident of the Pennridge community, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on November 15, 1951, Lillian dedicated her life to teaching and shaping the lives of countless students in the Pennridge School District, where she worked for over 30 years as an elementary school teacher. Her passion for education, kindness, and nurturing spirit left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Lillian grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and earned her teaching degree from Temple University. She began her career with the Pennridge School District, where she taught multiple generations of students. Known for her creative teaching methods, patience, and the personal attention she gave each child, Lillian was more than just a teacher; she was a mentor and a friend to her students and colleagues alike. She had a special gift for making learning fun, fostering a love of reading, and encouraging children to pursue their dreams.
Her love for education extended beyond the classroom. Lillian was an active member of various committees within the district, always advocating for better opportunities for students. She was a strong believer in the importance of community involvement and frequently volunteered at school events, helping to strengthen the bond between Pennridge families and educators.
Outside of her career, Lillian was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She shared 48 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Thomas Strzelski. Together, they raised two children, Mark and Sarah, who were the pride and joy of her life. As a grandmother, Lillian was a constant source of love, encouragement, and joy for her grandchildren. She adored spending time with her family, whether it was baking, gardening, or attending her grandchildren’s school events.
Lillian is survived by her husband, Thomas Strzelski of Perkasie; her children, Mark Strzelski (Jennifer) of Doylestown, and Sarah Peters (Ethan) of Chalfont; her grandchildren, Emma, Ava, and Noah; her sister, Margaret Wilson of Philadelphia; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A memorial service celebrating Lillian’s life will be held on September 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Sellersville. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on September 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home in Telford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lillian’s memory to the Pennridge School District Scholarship Fund or the American Cancer Society.
Lillian Strzelski will be remembered for her boundless generosity, dedication to education, and her deep love for her family. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all.
