Scott Decker Death: The Orinda Police Department and the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff are continuing to investigate the homicide that occurred in Orinda yesterday morning.
Orinda officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting in the area of Las Vegas Road and La Espiral. There, they found a gunshot victim who was later pronounced deceased at the scene. The person is identified as Scott Decker, 50-years-old, a resident of Truckee and Orinda.
The other person involved in this case has been interviewed and is no longer being detained pending further investigation.
