Dave MacDonald Death: Dave MacDonald recently passed away, leaving behind a community grieving the loss of a remarkable man. Known for his infectious zest for life, Dave made significant contributions to the lobstering and fishing industry and was equally passionate about sports and mineral mining in Western Maine. His generosity, warmth, and social spirit endeared him to many, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. To help Dave’s daughters, Katie and Danessa, with the financial burden of medical and funeral expenses, a fundraiser has been organized by Michelle Ubbelohde and Katie MacDonald.
As of now, $700 has been raised toward the $1,500 goal through the contributions of four generous donors. The support from the community has been a source of comfort for the family during this challenging time. A Celebration of Life will be held in Dave’s honor on Saturday, September 14, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Ada’s Kitchen in Rockland, ME.
This event will feature light fare and serve as an opportunity for friends, family, and loved ones to come together, share memories, and pay tribute to Dave’s vibrant spirit and lasting legacy. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dave MacDonald’s family, especially his daughters, during this difficult period. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and may the memory of Dave bring you peace and strength in the days ahead.
