At approximately 5:40 p.m., officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked in an alley along Ord Street. When one of the vehicle’s passengers exited the car, officers attempted to engage with him. The individual fled on foot toward I-295 South, discarding a firearm into a storm drain during the chase. As the pursuit continued, the suspect reportedly jumped onto the back of a moving motorcycle traveling northbound on I-295. Despite extensive efforts, the man remains at large.
