The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) has issued a public appeal for assistance in locating 16-year-old Lacy Tatiana Mejia Lozano, who has been missing since November 14, 2023. Known by her nickname “Leisi,” Lacy was last seen in Sterling, Virginia, specifically in the 1000 block of Temple Court. Her sudden disappearance has caused significant concern among her family and law enforcement, especially with the suspicion that she may have left the state with an unidentified male companion.
Lacy had recently moved to Sterling, Virginia, only two weeks before she went missing, after a brief time in the United States. Her family, now inconsolable with worry, fears for her safety and well-being. The LCSO is urging the public to be vigilant and to share any information that could lead to Lacy’s safe return.
At the time of her disappearance, Lacy was last seen wearing black leggings, sandals, and a gray sweatshirt adorned with butterflies on the front. Though she was reportedly in good health, her unexplained absence has raised alarms within her family and the authorities.
Lacy’s situation is particularly distressing, as her recent relocation to the U.S. was supposed to offer new opportunities and a fresh start. Instead, it has become a harrowing ordeal for her family. The lack of clear information and the possibility that she may have traveled to Louisiana with an unidentified individual only deepens the concern surrounding her case. Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office are actively investigating all leads in their effort to locate Lacy.
The notion that she might have left the state with a stranger whom her family does not know adds a troubling dimension to the investigation. The LCSO is working swiftly to track down any credible leads, but they need the public’s help to bring Lacy back safely.
