Howard F. Carr Obituary, Death – Howard F. Carr, aged 75, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, August 23, 2024. Known for his warm demeanor and deep commitment to his family, Howard leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Howard was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 53 years, Linda Carr. Together, they built a life filled with joy and shared experiences.
He is also survived by his children, Aaron (Lauren) Carr and Lauren (Brett) Baxt, who remember him as a guiding and supportive figure throughout their lives. His grandchildren, Jordyn Baxt, Noah Baxt, and Maddison Carr, were a source of immense pride and joy for him.
In addition to his immediate family, Howard is mourned by his brothers, Melvin (Sandy) Carr and Murray (Risa) Carr, who, along with Howard’s extended family and many friends, will deeply miss his presence. The funeral service to honor Howard’s life will take place on Sunday, August 25th, at 12:00 pm at Congregation Gates of Heaven, located at 852 Ashmore Ave., Schenectady.
Following the service, Howard will be laid to rest at The Independent Benevolent Cemetery in Albany. Howard’s passing leaves a significant void in the hearts of those who knew him. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
