Zach Dorsey Cause of Death: We regret to inform you of the passing of Zach Dorsey, a former Spring-Ford High School wrestler and football player. Zach, a graduate of the class of 2015, made a lasting impression on everyone he came into contact with, both on and off the field. His sudden departure has had a profound impact on his friends, family, and the entire Spring-Ford neighborhood.
Zach Dorsey excelled as an athlete while attending Spring-Ford High School. He contributed significantly to the wrestling team over his three years on the varsity team, culminating in a state qualifying in his senior year. Zach’s strength, perseverance, and good sportsmanship won him the respect and affection of both coaches and teammates.
Zach (#74) was a strong player on the football field. He was an All-League Offensive and Defensive Lineman during his three seasons as a starter. Serving as a Senior Captain and winning the coveted Class of 2015 Spring-Ford Touchdown Club Award demonstrated his leadership abilities. In addition, Zach’s athletic career reached a major milestone when he was selected as the East team’s captain in the 2015 PSFCA East/West All-Star Game.
A Celebration of Life in Zach’s honor and memory will take place at 11 Devonshire Circle, Schwenksville, on Saturday, August 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friends, family, and teammates will have the chance to pay their respects and share memories during the get-together. At 1:00 p.m., there will be a moment for words of remembering, and everyone in attendance will have access to food and refreshments.
