It is with great sadness we share the passing of Officer Bianca Quintana. Officer Quintana worked out of the Foothills Area Command and has been with the department since 2022. The entire APD family extends our most sincere condolences to Officer Quintana’s family.
Before one in the morning on Wednesday, according to the police, Bianca Quintana was killed in a crash.
APD Chief Harold Medina stated in a press statement, “This is a tragic loss for the Albuquerque Police Department and especially for the family and friends of Officer Bianca Quintana.” “Officer Quintana’s family has our deepest condolences from the entire APD family.”
Quintana was struck by a car while she was walking close to Coors and Chapulin, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies are looking for a suspect as the car left the scene.
