Theresa (McCullough) White, who died peacefully, was born in Vincennes, IN, on March 14, 1947. She was the youngest of three sisters, along with Mary and Joan, and the beloved daughter of John and Zella McCullough. Theresa did exceptionally well in her early schooling at St. Rose Academy, where she graduated in 1965. She then went on to Vincennes University to pursue her nursing career, obtaining her License as a Practical Nurse (LPN).
Theresa committed her life to her work and her family. She dedicated her entire life to raising her three kids, John, Roland, and David, as a single mother. She met Robin White, an English business traveler, while she was employed in Indianapolis. They were married and had a love of sailing, golf, and traveling. After a while, they relocated to England, where they established a life together and continued to communicate frequently with Theresa’s family back home.
Every spring, Theresa and Robin traveled to the United States to spend time with her family. They had a great day dining at Texas Roadhouse and playing golf at Cool Lake. These visits continued to be a cherished custom despite the difficulties of aging and health.
Theresa frequently shared tales about her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, demonstrating her deep pride in her family. She enjoyed using social media to remain in touch with family and friends in England.
Her spouse, Robin White, her daughters-in-law, her sisters, Mary Martin and Joan McMillen, her sons, John, Roland, and David, her stepson and stepsdaughter, her grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Vanessa, Mason, Derek, Grant, Ryan, and Gavin, and many great-grandchildren survive her.
On September 28, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., there will be a committal service in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, located at S. 6th Street Road, Vincennes. It is an honor for Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home to support the White family.
