When people think about farmers markets, they usually think about fresh vegetables and fruits sitting in the summer sun. Farmers markets don’t end when the sun starts setting sooner though.
Many Connecticut farmers markets continue past November, with many going until the end of December and some continuing into March. Vendors sell a variety of goods from produce to soap, homemade bread to pastries. There’s still something for everyone at the winter markets. It’s the perfect time to get something tasty to brighten up any winter blues.
