Darrell Bruns Obituary – Darrell Bruns, 55, of Canyon Country, was identified as the deceased driver in a collision on Soledad Canyon Road on Saturday afternoon by the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office.
At approximately 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, emergency responders were alerted to a passenger van that had crashed into the embankment on Soledad Canyon Road, just east of Agua Dulce Canyon Road, as reported by California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found that the driver had been thrown from the vehicle and was declared dead at the scene, according to CHP Officer Michael Nasir. Soledad Canyon Road remained closed for nearly six hours following the incident. The collision did not involve any other vehicles, and as of Monday, the cause of the crash remains unknown.
