Daniel Sweet Obituary, – Officials reported that a 22-year-old man was killed in a car accident early Sunday morning in Newbury, Vt. At approximately 5:37 a.m., Vermont State Police arrived at the scene of a single vehicle crash on Wallace Hill Road and found a 2000 Jeep Wrangler that had been completely wrecked. The deceased was identified as Daniel Sweet, 22, of Newbury.
According to the police, Sweet succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time. The police stated that Sweet was driving north on Wallace Hill Road when he passed the intersection of Stark Trail and his vehicle veered off the road, causing him to be ejected from the car. An investigation into the accident is currently underway, and the police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Trooper David Hastings at 802-748-3111.
