Sean Delaney,Elana Korey Obituary, – Vermont State Police troopers were alerted to a fatal car accident and subsequent car fire around 5 a.m. on Sunday near Interstate 89 northbound. Upon arrival of state police and local emergency personnel, the 2006 Lexus ES330 was already fully ablaze.
Authorities confirmed that both the driver and passenger in the front seat had passed away at the scene. The driver was later identified as 19-year-old Sean Delaney and his passenger as 20-year-old Elana Korey, both residents of Duxbury, Mass. According to investigators, excessive speed played a role in the collision.
