Elana Korey, Sean Delaney Obituary – Two individuals have lost their lives following a collision in Middlesex. Authorities have reported that the incident occurred at approximately 5 a.m. on Sunday morning on I-89 northbound in Middlesex.
Upon arrival at the scene, Vermont State Police, Middlesex Fire Department, and other emergency responders discovered that the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames.
The driver, identified as 19-year-old Sean Delaney, and the front seat passenger, 20-year-old Elana Korey from Duxbury, MA, were tragically pronounced deceased at the scene.
While the investigation is still ongoing, law enforcement officials have stated that the crash involved a single vehicle and that speed played a role in the accident.
