Kelpsie Lott Jr Obituary, – A fatal crash in Lowndes County, Alabama, claimed the life of an Albany man on Sunday, July 28th. Kelpsie Lott Jr., aged 39, was driving a 2020 Freightliner on U.S. 80 near mile marker 101 when the vehicle veered off the road and overturned. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported the incident at around 3:25 a.m. Lott was pronounced dead at the scene due to blunt force trauma, as confirmed by Lowndes County Coroner Terrell Means. The ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is currently conducting an investigation into the crash.
